Bound in full red leather with gilt decorations and lettering, bevelled edges, five raised bands to spine, inner gilt dentelles, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers - a handsome, impressive volume. Presentation inscription, dated 1888, on endpaper verso, together with some later pencilled notes; letter accompanying presentation, to the Provincial Grand Lodge of West Yorkshire, laid in. Scattered small, round ownership stamps of the Grand Lodge. Some pencil annotations to contents page. Two plates detached but present, else internally neat, clean, bright and tight.
