This text is made up of articles presented at the 18th Summer School of ISODARCO, the theme of which was "The Weapons Legacy of the Cold War: Problems and Opportunites". The papers present a review of the current situation in international security as created by the Cold war, and how the end of the Cold war is likely to change the situation.
