London: Long Hair Books. 1969. Small 4to. Original blue card wrappers; unpaginated [pp. 8]; very minor sunning to spine and margins of wrappers; internally bright and clean, near fine.First edition. Although not stated, limited to 500 copies. Produced posthumously, three years after O'Hara's tragic death, this publication of two of his poems highlights O'Hara's spontaneous and conversational style. With the vibrancy of New York's bustling urban environment a rich undertone to O'Hara's canon, both Those who are Dreaming, a play about St. Paul, and Commercial Variations are lyrical, immediate, and infused with personal and cultural reflections.
