A collection of three complete books.
Snow in April
Despite the fact that her wedding to the oh-so-staid and aloof Hugh Rashley is just days away, or perhaps because of it, Caroline Cliburn and her young brother Jody set off to Scotland to find their long-lost, free-spirited older brother Angus and to reconnect as a family. On the way, a sudden spring blizzard strands them in the Scottish countryside, where Caroline is given one last chance to find true and abiding love.
Wild Mountain Thyme
Three years ago, Oliver Dobbs abruptly disappeared from Victoria Bradshaw's life, breaking the vulnerable eighteen-year-old heart. Now the handsome London playwright stands in der doorway, a widower holding his two-year-old son, acting as though nothing has changed. Her heart and mind in turmoil, Victoria accompanies Oliver on an early spring journey never dreaming she is embarking on an odyssey of self-discovery and love.
Flowers in the Rain
Wonderfully written, rich in detail, and full of character, each of the sixteen short stories in this collection is a gem to savor and treasure. A headstrong girl's first encounter with heartbreak, a mother's talk with her son on the morning of his wedding, and a boy comming to grips with his father's death are just a few of the vignettes Pilcher paints with warmth, wisdom, and consummate skill.
