Artikelbeschreibung des Verkäufers
First edition, first printing, with the loose errata sheet as issued; one of 450 copies only. Hockney began making the etchings in September 1961. Hockney suggested that Posner should write the poem, which was to be a work in it's own right and not necessarily to illustrate his engravings. Also included is a catalogue of the exhibition displaying the original etchings which was held at the Print Centre, London, 3-24 December 1963. Square folio. Original black cloth boards with slide-on plastic spine binder, lettering to front cover in grey, printed on Dual White Proven art paper. No dust jacket issued. Boards lightly rubbed, otherwise an excellent copy.…
