Quarto-size, 328 pages (xxvi, 304) plus 16 coloured plates and numerous half-tone illustrations arranged on a smaller number of plates, indexes, top edge gilt: most of the text is descriptions of the various Baxter prints: publisher's bottle-green cloth, elaborately decorated in gilt and pale green with an oval plate laid down on the front cover.
