Hardcover. Zustand: Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. 1st Edition. First trade edition, preceded by a limited edition of 2000 deluxe copies. 4to. 206pp. Blue cloth lettered in gold at spine, with the R. A. F. insignia blind-stamped to the upper board and the publisher's blue top edge stain. The title page printed in black and red. Tiny dealer plate to the base of the front pastedown. A nice bright copy - particularly crisp internally, housed in a somewhat toned, soiled, marked, rubbed and spotted example of the dust wrapper, non-price-clipped, but with some internal offsetting from the cloth dye. An account of Lawrence's pseudonymous time in the R. A. F. (he was dismissed from the service in January 1923 when his true identify was revealed and the base was besieged by crowds of pressmen, but subsequently readmitted in August 1925, but only after he threatened to otherwise kill himself).
