1st 1905. Almost very good condition with no wrapper. A biography written by Hawker's son-in-law, Charles Edward Byles, about the life of Robert Stephen Hawker, a prominent English clergyman and poet who served as the vicar of Morwenstow in Cornwall for over 40 years. Red cloth boards, gilt title to spine. Colour frontis. B/w illustrations. xxviii and 689 pages including index. Top edge gilt. Spine faded. Light fading to edges of boards. A few marks to boards. Corners lightly bumped. Text block browned. A few foxspots present but generally contents are very nice. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched.
