After starting his career as an inker at Marvel UK, Simon Coleby made his debut at 2000 AD in 1989, working on Future Shocks, Universal Soldier & Rogue Trooper. Since then, he has co-created Mother Earth, and illustrated numerous Judge Dredd strips, as well as Future Shocks, Judge Anderson and Venus Bluegenes.. David Roach joined the art Droids at 2000 AD in late 1986 after studying Fine Art and Philosophy at art college, going on to draw Nemesis the Warlock and Judge Anderson for five years. In the ’90s he was one of many artists enticed over to America where he drew Star Wars and Aliens for Dark Horse, Star Trek for Wildstorm, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs for Topps and numerous strips for DC including a lengthy association with Batman which he both drew and inked. Much of the late ’90s was spent drawing Dungeons and Dragons illustrations for Wizards of the Coast, but he returned to British comics in 1999 with work for Panini’s Doctor Who Magazine where he still draws or inks the comic strip, and is the company’s Principal Graphic Novel cover artist. The new millennium also saw a return to 2000 AD where he drew Judge Dredd, Synnamon and in 2016 returned to Judge Anderson in Prog 2000. Away from comics, Roach has created artwork for records, advertising, storyboards and countless commissions. He also lectures in art and enjoys an alternate existence as a fine artist working with life-models to create large scale drawings of the nude. In a parallel career Roach has also written extensively about art, comics and pop culture and has contributed to various titles including Escape, Comic Book Artist and Illustrators magazine. He has written or co-written numerous art books including the Warren Companion (with Jon B Cooke for TwoMorrows, 2001), The Fleetway Companion (with Steve Holland for the Book Palace, 2007) The Art of War (Carlton, 2008), Life Style Illustrations of the ’50s and ’60s (two volumes for Fiell books compiled by Rian Hughes, 2010, 2013) and several books for Dynamite including the Art of Vampirella (2013), The Art of José González (2015) and Masters of Spanish Comic Art (2017). Future books will include The Art of Luis García Mozos and Drawings Volume 1; a collection of his favourite life-drawings. He lives in Cardiff with two daughters and far too many comics.. After graduating in Fine Arts and testing the waters of animation and video games, Inaki Miranda made his debut in comics in 2003, illustrating UK’s cultural icon Judge Dredd for 2000AD. He got his DC Comics break as a guest artist in Vertigo’s multiple award winning series Fables. That lead to Fables spin-off Fairest and the co-creation of Coffin Hill. This was followed by his work in the DCU with Catwoman, Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Ragman and Old Lady Harley.. Neil Googe has been lending his talent to 2000 AD for over twenty years, illustrating strips such as Judge Dredd, Pulp Sci-Fi and Hondo City Justice for the Judge Dredd Megazine. Beyond his work with 2000 AD he has also worked on WildCats and The Flash for DC Comics.. Peter Doherty is primarily known to fans of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic as artist of the Young Death series, which opened the Judge Dredd: Megazine’s first volume, but he has also contributed extensively to Judge Dredd, working on the epic Judgment Day as well as many shorter stories, including John Wagner’s classic ‘Bury My Knee At Wounded Heart’. Outside of 2000 AD, Doherty’s comic work includes The Dreaming, Superman/Batman: World’s Finest and a Grendel Tales series and Shaolin Cowboy.

John Wagner

John Wagner has been scripting for 2000 AD for more years than he cares to remember. His creations include Judge Dredd, Strontium Dog, Ace Trucking, Al’s Baby, Button Man and Mean Machine. Outside of 2000 AD his credits include Star Wars, Lobo, The Punisher and the critically acclaimed A History of Violence.

Gordon Rennie

Gordon Rennie is one of 2000 AD's most prolific creators, with co-creative credits for Caballistics, Inc., Missionary Man, Necronauts, Storming Heaven, Rain Dogs and Witchworld. Rennie has written for Heavy Metal and Warhammer, as well as Species, Starship Troopers and White Trash.

Rob Williams

Rob Williams is the writer of Suicide Squad and Martian Manhunter for DC Comics, Unfollow for Vertigo and Doctor Who: The Eleventh Doctor for Titan Comics. His previous work for 2000 AD includes Judge Dredd: Titan, The Grievous Journey Of Ichabod Azrael (And The Dead Left In His Wake) and The Ten-Seconders.

Robbie Morrison

Robbie Morrison is one of 2000 AD’s most popular writers, having co-created The Bendatti Vendetta, Shakara, Shimura and Vanguard, as well as being one of the select few writers to have chronicled the adventures of Judge Dredd in 2000 AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine.

He is also co-creator of fan-favourite strip Nikolai Dante, which won an Eagle award for ‘Best Character’ in 2002, beating Judge Dredd to this accolade for the first time in almost twenty years. In the US, he has written Spider-Man’s Tangled Web for Marvel and The Authority for DC/WildStorm. His and artist Charlie Adlard’s critically acclaimed graphic novel White Death has also been hugely successful in both Europe and the US.

Pat Mills

Pat Mills is the creator and first editor of 2000 AD. He developed Judge Dredd and is the writer-creator of many of 2000 AD’s most popular stories such as Sláine, Nemesis and A.B.C. Warriors.

Amongst his credits are Marshal Law (Marvel and DC Comics), co-created with Kevin O’Neill, the French graphic novel series Requiem, Vampire Knight with artist Olivier Ledroit, and Be Pure! Be Vigilant! Behave! The Secret History of 2000 AD and Judge Dredd.

Al Ewing

Al Ewing has been a Judge Dredd aficionado since the age of nine, and is best known in the UK for his work on Dredd in 2000 AD, where he also co-created Zombo and Damnation Station. In addition, Ewing has written various novels for Solaris and Abaddon Books, including The Fictional Man, Pax Omega and Gods of Manhattan. His work in American comics includes an acclaimed run on The Immortal Hulk for Marvel and We Only Find Them When They're Dead for Boom!

Si Spurrier

Simon "Si" Spurrier writes novels and comics.

His work in the latter field stretches from award winning creator-owned books such as Numbercruncher, Six-Gun Gorilla and The Spire to projects in the U.S. mainstream like Hellblazer, The Dreaming, and X-Men. It all began with a series of twist-in-the-tail stories for the UK's beloved 2000 AD, which ignited an enduring love for genre fiction.

His prose works range from the beatnik neurosis-noir of Contract to the occult whodunnit A Serpent Uncoiled via various franchise and genre-transgressing titles. In 2016 he took a foray into experimental fiction with the e-novella Unusual Concentrations - a tale of coffee, crime and overhead conversations.

He lives in Margate, regards sushi as part of the plotting process, and has the fluffiest of cats.
