This book is my account of life behind the scenes at Heathrow - one of the world's busiest airports - and you will be accompanying me on a gruelling seven-day shift. My job is to make sure that all the flights on Aeroflot's busy schedule take off on time - can't be that hard, I hear you say! But throw in 300 missing bread rolls, puppies in hand luggage, excess baggage, a delivery of diamonds, a leaky loo and the odd lobster, and you will soon realise that the world of air travel is most definitely weird. On this journey through the trials and triumphs of my week at Heathrow, you will also meet some of my wonderful colleagues.
