RARE 1ST EDITION! No other seller has the UK First Edition. The copyright page states 'First Published by George G. Harrap & Co. Ltd, 1937', but below this states, 'Printed in the United States of America'. There's no mention of Harcourt, Brace & Co, and on the spine there's only HARRAP with the publisher's logo. Otherwise it's similar to the American 1st Edition. pp.ix, 658 pages, a very good hardback, publisher's original red cloth binding with gilt lettering to the spine (slightly sunned - lettering still visible). NOT FROM A LIBRARY and indeed completely clean from any former owner makings.
