Separate title page for "An Epistolary Discourse Concerning the Most Ancient Great Roll of the Exchequer Commonly Styed The Quinto Regis Stephani, or Fifth of King Stephen," with continuous foliation and register. Contemporary calf; five raised bands; black title label. Splits to joints with discrete professional repair; general scuffing and edgewear. Binding sound. Bookplate of G.W.F. Gregor to pastedown; brief marginal toning and a few stray stains and smudges, else unmarked and overall a Very Good copy; Exchequer scarce in retail. ESTC T101557; T4738.
