Hardcover. Zustand: Good. 6th Edition. See photos for condition details. Hardcover, thick padded brown cloth boards decorated in gilt with silk flower attached front. Exterior shows some scuffing and wear and rear board has a white mark near the bottom. Exterior page textblock also shows staining along the fore edge, this stain…can be seen on some of the pages though only along the extreme edge and well outside of any text areas. Some stains also present on front and rear pastedowns as well as foxing. Some hinge cracks are present at the front board and the rear board is starting at the bottom. Binding of the text pages is good and tight. Pages are darkened due to type of paper used in some spotting and foxing is present. The only handwriting found in the book is on the front end page where there is the letter C penned near the top center. The copyright page (to the left of the title page) states the copyright date 1943 though after the word Chile it shows the number 1962. The book looks and feels like it's from the 1940s but the publication date is listed as 1962 in this listing as it is unknown if this is a postal code or an actual printing date.
