Four of these monologues are in a female voice: the elderly womans aggressive/defensive voice of Gazelle came to me in a dream shortly after I had moved to New York City to live in the early 1980s, the naive voice of a Midwestern girl recounts a childhood trauma in Snakedoctors, a subdued young woman tells of her relationship to her parents in At the Lake House, and Bronze Age Greek accents of Ismenethe lonely, hysteric, forgotten princess of Thebes and sister to Antigonein the eponymous tragedy by Sophocles, again, invite imagination. That is how I hear them.

These prophecies have eventuated with a high degree of accuracy. My husband and I were diagnosed with two different kinds of cancer. Mine was breast cancer, and his was low-grade lymphoma, which has no cure. After the diagnosis of my husbands cancer, we discovered he had a heart problem. With Gods blessing, we both had a spiritual experience of healing. The full story is recorded in the book. The daughters who have experience failed relationships with their fathers are in need for compassionate relationships with other men and other people who are vulnerable to their plan. Daughters who suffer from negative relationships should learn to place high values on themselves, acknowledge that they are somebody, and that they hold the key to their own happiness. Many people do not identify the impact fathers have on their daughters' lives. As a result, these daughters can go through endlessly with no expectations of healing from the damage caused by lack of positive relationships with their fathers. If one is to comprehend the impact of father-daughter relationships, one must be open to comprehend the effect of that relationships. Fathers' impacts their relationship with their daughters, especially the role fathers play after divorce. After parents' divorce, daughters have various feelings of support, love, comfort, discomfort, honor, and disappointment. When fathers are part of their daughters lives, they grow up feeling safe, secured, and protected, because their fathers were always around. Daughters needs their fathers to be the standard against which they will judge all men.

There was a great country, and if we could turn back the clock and watch the years, months, and days go idly by, we could make time do our bidding. We could start with the Assyrians, Babylonians, Julius Caesar, and Cleopatra. Maybe we will find out why the Sphinx was built and who is entombed within it. There are a number of other dynasties that were created by time, and those who rose to power and then by the magic of time were only names written in some history book that some researcher may read on some sunny afternoon in a classroom, in a library or maybe archived in a distant land, where one or many are doing research into the rise and fall of those who wanted to rule over the dreams of others and perhaps we might end up with. Who knows, with more than just a thought. With great power comes great responsibility and challenges for the future. During that time of the building of a nation, there are many problems externally and internally. That nation, endowed by its victories over tyranny and regimes that rule with fear and intimidation, can only survive if those who fought for the freedoms somehow gave them up to the few who want power all for themselves. And from the Bible, 'Greater hath no man than those who would give their lives for their fellow man.' Greater love for liberty and the pursuit of what makes the populous happy. Sometimes the leaders of the populous wants what somebody else has or they want to force upon them, their beliefs (Manifestos). I read something that I would like to quote: 'Better to be poor with integrity than rich and crooked in one's ways, desire without knowledge is not good and whoever acts hastily blunders.'.

Neuware - This book chronicles the experiences of a young farm boy from Schuyler County, Illinois, as he participated in the three main American campaigns of World War I, or as it was known then, the Great War. The main body of the book contains the daily entries into his diary memoirs that he wrote later during the 1970s and my own commentaries. The diary entries are apparent because they are generally dated and presented in a distinctive typeface. Diary entries for February, March, and the first two weeks of April are written in the past tense because they were not written until the second week of April 1918. The end of the diary contains a section where amusing incidents and remarks were recorded. Most of those have been presented in the text in places that seemed to fit the situation the best (for some, it was obvious, and for some, it was just speculation). There is also a section from the diary, which is presented near the end of the book, that was undated, but it seems to have been written during December 1918.
