(price-clipped) [good solid book, upper corners bumped, browning to pages due to cheap paper used; jacket mildly scuffed and edgeworn, a couple of small tears and associated creasing at top of front panel, ragged u-shaped tear at top of rear panel (minimal paper loss)]. Novel set slightly in the then-future (1971), in which London "is tense and depressing as nascent neo-fascist organizations work, both covertly and overtly, to prevent Negro immigration," with the government "convinced that it must discover who or what group lies behind the spurt of provocations, the sudden eruptions of violence and madness." All sounds a little too familiar, in Donald Trump's America.

Very good with very good, price clipped dust jacket. Dust jacket is bumped at spine tips and corners, has a damp stain at top front edge, and has two small stickers on back panel. Small stain at top of page fore edge. 191 pages.
