Lukins (1875-1934) was a renowned homeopath and physician who also founded the Roerich Society which later, under the guidance of Rihards Rudzitis, developed the Roerich Museum in Riga. Lukins is quite renowned in Latvia as a multitalented physician and homeopath. He also introduced many cures from Himalayan research and travels. The book is filled with visionary and symbolist paintings by Roerich, Ciurlionis, Liberts, etc., and with numerous photos of Lukins and his biographical milieu. Rare: worldcat finds only two North American library holdings.
