For the issue of 8 December 1997, Hirst, as guest editor, suggested to Jarvis Cocker, eccentric frontman of the band The Pulp, to interview David Bowie, with a focus on the topic of smoking addiction. The Hirst's style is shown on many pages of the magazine and on the cover too: the title is decorated with his unmistakable "spots" and on the white t-shirt there is a large cigarette butt, another unmistakable typical of the artist's lexicon . Inside the interview is illustrated with photographs of a lot of cigarette butts, hearts pierced by knives and butterflies.
