First editions, each inscribed by the author "with love" to Briggs. Also included is an autographed letter signed, in which Ives sends Rabbit Pie, noting "I am glad to be able to give you something I'm not ashamed of!", and a greetings card sharing updates from her life. He is chiefly remembered for Father Christmas (1973), Fungus the Bogeyman (1978), When the Wind Blows (1982), and the perennial classic The Snowman (1978). Together 5 works, all in original bindings. Colour illustrations throughout by Penny Ives. Celestine books with dust jackets.
