The global dimension in teaching international degree programmes is discussed in the nal part of this book.

A lot of people worked very hard to make this event happen and to produce this book. The programme committee with IFIP members from around the world issued a call for papers inspiring almost 80 people to submit papers, posters, demonstrations, and workshops to the IFIP TC3 (Technical Committee on Education) sub-conference of WCC 2006. The submitted papers were reviewed by a large group of referees to select the papers to be presented at the conference. What is really amazing is that all these people freely contributed their time and effort to do all this work. The TC3 sub-conference of WCC 2006 has two themes: Informatics Curricula, TEaching Methods and best practice (ICTEM II), and Teaching and Learning with ICT: Theory, Policy and Practice. These themes represent many of the broad range of interests of the Working Groups of IFIP TC3. Two kinds of papers are included in this book: full papers and short papers. Full papers are standard papers that are appropriate for an international conference on ICT and informatics education. Of the 64 full paper submissions, 28 (44%) were accepted. A short paper represents work in progress, opinion, a proposal, work with untested results, or an experience report.

It received renewed interest during the last few years as a method for routing in mobile wireless ad hoc and sensor networks [1, 2, 4]. The general idea of is to select the next hop based on position information such that the packet is forwarded in the geographical direction of the destination. Position-based routing can be divided into two main components: the location service and position-based forwarding. The location service [5, 13] is used for mapping the unique identifier (for example an IP address) of a node to its geographical position. In mobile ad hoc networks, providing accurate location service for position based routing, with low communication overhead, appears to be more difficult task than routing itself [13]. In case of sensor networks, however, destination is a sink or base station whose position is made available to source sensors by flooding. Position-based forwarding is performed by a node to select one of its neighbors as the next hop the packet should be forwarded to. Usually, the following information is required for the forwarding decision: the node's own geographical position, the position of all neighbors within transmission range and the position of the destination. Based on this information, the forwarding node selects one of its neighbors as the next hop such that the packet makes progress toward the geographical position of the destination.

The more unique the case, the more we need to study it not only to understand the case itself but also to understand the structure and limits of environmentalism in general. We hope that we have been able to show the value of this research strategy. The way we have organized our study is different from the Rootes study (2003). This study emphasizes the importance of different environmental cultures and of political conjunctures in a single country of which different environm- tal groups take advantage. We are not arguing against the fact that branches of environmentalism have features in common across countries (e.g., animal rights and antinuclear movements). However, we would not go as far as the Rootes study. We argue that looking at political conjunctures, even if important, does not tell the whole story. Researchers need to understand the broader context in which political conjunctures and environmental culture operate.

To date it has not been the subject of a monograph-length treatment in any language (this study is the first) and the number of journal articles and book chapters devoted solely to it is small. The present work will, it is hoped, help to fill this lacuna in research on the topic, but additional research is undoubtedly still needed. Its title probably deserves a comment. The use of the word compromised is intended to raise the question of the extent of accommodation's penetration into Calvin's doctrine of God. It aims to suggest the idea that Calvin's thinking on accommodation might possess qualities which push against traditional thinking on the divine attributes. The idea was first suggested by E. David Willis. The present study will aim to expand upon it. This monograph owes much to the efforts of Emeritus Professor of Patristic and Reformed Christianity, David F. Wright, who, as supervisor, colleague and friend, has offered assistance to me on innumerable occasions and has also demonstrated a level of scholarly excellence in his own work that has been enormously instructive and encouraging.
