It was written by an anonymous author describing the practice of the courts, the forms of writs and an explanation of law terms as they existed during the reign of Edward I. This is the final volume of a four volume set in Latin and English. Volume I only of two volumes on the reports of Sir John Spelman. Frontispiece portrait of Spelman with two other illustrated plates, including pages of Spelman's handwritten notes with corrections by Christopher Yelverton.
