Hardcover. Zustand: Vg+. FIRST EDITION. 8vo. 372pp. Frontispiece portrait + 26 half-tone plates. There appears to be an inaccurate listing of plates: the title of the plate opposite p. 64 is repeated opposite p. 206, but there is no plate opposite p. 206; there is a plate opposite p. 256, which does not appear in the list of illustrations; thus, p. 206 appears to be listed in error for p. 256. Red embossed cloth with gilt letters. Minor scuffing to covers and minor wear to extremities, else Vg+/ No jacket.
