Arthur Beresford Pite (2 September 1861 - 27 November 1934) was a British architect known for creating Edwardian buildings in Baroque Revival, Byzantine Revival and Greek Revival styles. aAn excellent easy to read book which brings Pite's remarkable architecture to life. It documents many of his buildings including the exceptional London, Edinburgh and Glasgow Assurance Company in Euston Road London. The sketches and photographs used to illustrate the essays are very detailed. A must for lovers of Byzantine and gothic design.
