hardcover. Zustand: Good. Most items will be dispatched the same or the next working day. A copy that has been read but remains in clean condition. All of the pages are intact and the cover is intact and the spine may show signs of wear. The book may have minor markings which are not specifically mentioned. Leatherbound hardcover has seen some wear, concentrated largely at the board edges, corners, and spine. General crackling and fading to the spine leather, though the author's name and book title is still legible with gilt lettering. Gilt design to spine still apparent but faded and generally worn. General rubbing to boards with some very minor indentation. Text block edge discoloured. Some pencil markings on front pastedown. Previous owner's name on endpaper, dated 1810. One instance of pencil annotation in which previous owner appears to have made a correction, otherwise content is clear throughout and pages are generally clean. Binding is good, with pages fairly tight, considering age.…
