FIRST FRASER EDITION, title-page vignette and 30 further colour-printed illustrations by Fraser of varying sizes, pp. 60, [1], tall 8vo, original blue cloth-backed boards with a repeated diamond design in various colours, the merest hint of rubbing at extremities, the endpapers also patterned with a multi-coloured diamond motif, preserved in cloth slipcase, near fine. A very bright copy. The first issue of this attractive book, printed at Gerard Meynell's Westminster Press on toned paper (subsequent issues were printed at the Curwen Press and the contents vary slightly).
