Here is another of the scarce books about railroads and circuses which I have been listing of late and of which Bob is the author of three of them. This one is titled: C.W. Parker- The Carnival King. This large but relatively slender, soft cover book (8 ½ x 11 inches, 82 pages) was published by Midway Museum Publications of Nashua, New Hampshire dated 1988 and the First Edition (so stated). The book is lavishly illustrated with vintage b&w photos of the operations of Mr. Barker and his carnival outfit which also used railroad trains for transport. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. There is some faint rubbing to the front cover which only highlights the binding. Inside the book is unmarked and the pages and photos are clean and bright throughout. The binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.…
