Cloth. Zustand: Very Good+. Twelfth Edition / Second Foolscap Edition / Second Printing. Cloth. Formerly owned by Oliver Sacks. "It is thought that a selection from Oscar Wilde's early verses may be of interest to a large public at present familiar only with the always popular Ballad of Reading Gaol, also included in this volume. The poems were first collected by their author when he was twenty-six years old."--Preface. Two other volumes of Wilde's more prolific works. From the library of Dr. Oliver Sacks, the renowned neurologist, author, and educator. He was, in his life, celebrated for his contributions to the understanding of the human brain and his ability to communicate complex scientific concepts to a broader audience. In doing so, he highlighted the profound impact of neurological disorders on human identity and experience. His library is a reflection of this remarkable polymath's questing mind. Light shelfwear and bumped corners, toning throughout, else tight, bright, and unmarred. Bound in green cloth with dark blue outlining, gilt borders, and deckled edges. 8vo, viii, 161pp. ; xix, 180pp. ; xi, 352pp. Twelfth Edition / Second Foolscap Edition / Second Printing.…
