Among the many railroad books that I acquired last fall (and have been listing of late), I found this small, neat book about the lighthouses around New York City. Please find for your consideration: The Lighthouse Handbook Hudson River & New York Harbor, by Jeremy D Entremont, Historian, American Lighthouse Foundation. This small soft cover book (5 ¾ x 8 inches, 232 pages) was published by the Cider Mill Press of Kennebunkport, Maine, dated 2009 and a First Edition (so stated). It is bound in stiff soft covers with a colorful pictorial spread on the cover. The book is very well illustrated, including a color map of the locations of the lighthouses around the New York City area and countless color photos of the subjects throughout. Condition: This book is in near fine condition. There is just the slightest bit of edge wear you will have to look carefully to see it along the bottom edge.
