See p. 605 for the letter I wrote Tiger." Includes a copy of Savic's memoir. President George H.W. Bush was a frequent guest at the Memorial Tournament in Dublin, Ohio. He attended the golf tournament in May 2000 when Tournament founder Jack Nicklaus was honored. While in Ohio, Bush stayed with Tournament Chairman Pandel Savic. The two days Bush spent with Savic are recounted in the book, A Wonderful Run at Life: The Stories of Pandel Savic (2016). While the visit was short, the two shared stories of their time during World War II and the young career of Tiger Woods. Pandel Savic died in 2018.

Heche was also known for her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres in the late 1990s, which brought significant media attention. Tragically, Anne Heche passed away in August 2022 following a car accident.

Ariel De Guzman was assigned by the United States Navy to Vice President George H.W. Bush in 1981, helping with food preparation at the Naval Observatory. When Bush moved to the White House in 1989, Ariel accompanied the family and stayed with them until the 1992 election. When De Guzman retired from the Navy in 1995, he began working for the Bush family, traveling between their residences in Houston and Kennebunkport as personal chef and house manager.
