The average recoveries and precision ranged from 98% to 109% and from 2.0% to 6.6%, respectively. The level of detection observed based on hazard quotient (HQ) was remarkably improved over that achieved with the conventional method. The value of HQ ranged from 0.00002 to 0.001 for each chlorophenols. On mixed carbonate and detrital platforms surrounding the basins or on horsts within the basins, the eustacy prevails upon the tectonics, and consequently sequences are more similar to the Vail¿s type. Comparisons between Moroccan sequences of platforms and basins, and sequences of platforms in Belgium and Great Britain show that some discontinuities are coeval.
