Co-occurrence of pixel pairs in local pattern map has been observed in different directions and distances using gray level co-occurance matrix. For similarity measure, four different similarity measure techniques i.e. Chi-square, Manhattan, Canbarra and Euclidian distances are used in which Canbara gives better results than the rest. Out of four, Euclidian distance shows poor performances in comparable to other similarity measures. Twenty four patient with surgical closure of VSD were enrolled into this study purposively and were divided into 3 groups according to the age. In Group A (n=10), patients within age 2.0- 6.0 years, group B(n=8) patients age 6.1-18.0 years, and group-C(n=6) age range 18.1-42.0 years. Echocardiographic variables such as left ventricular posterior wall thickness, interventricular septal thickness, LA diameter, Ejection fraction, fractional shortening, LVIDd, LVIDs were taken preoperatively and at 1st and 3rd month of postoperative values. The mean age of all group was 12.60±12.09, male were 13 (54.2%) and female were 11 (45.8%). Echocardigraphic evaluation was done in different age group.
