Most of the FDI to Armenia are still made by Diaspora investors based on patriotic reasons. For the first phase of the research, secondary information is obtained through examining relevant literature, concerning Armenia. In the second phase, the Dunning eclectic paradigm or the so called OLI paradigm model is applied to determine what factors affect FDI flow to Armenia. For this reason primary research through questionnaires has been conducted with fully or partially foreign companies operating in Armenia. It identifies the visibility and framing of the disorder in the Ukrainian countryside news on the domestic news agenda in the Soviet Union and on the foreign news agenda in Great Britain between March and June 1933, when the famine-genocide claimed the highest death toll in the Ukrainian history. The findings of the study are discussed in the light of the libertarian and Soviet communist theories of the press (Siebert, Peterson and Schramm, 1956) to find out the extent to which these theories could explain the pattern of the famine-genocide coverage displayed by the British and Soviet media. The findings suggest that the disorder in the Ukrainian countryside was framed by the Soviet journalists in such a way that mass starvation and millions of deaths were totally disguised. It was hypothesized that auditory attentional manipulations at encoding, using endogenous and exogenous cueing, would have a similar effect to findings in the visual memory system¿attentional manipulations have a significant effect on direct but not on indirect tests of memory. Four experiments were conducted using an attentional cueing manipulation technique, where memory was tested using direct and indirect memory tests. The results showed that exogenous and endogenous cueing manipulations have a beneficial effect on memory when measured using a direct memory test, but have little or no effect on memory when assessed with an indirect test of memory. In this book we are addressing such issues by geophysical, geotechnical and geochemical investigations in the urban center of 15th May City and Al-Mokattam area,Cairo and in the Osireion of Abydos, Egypt. Ground penetrating radar was applied in both areas. In Abydos the results show a channel underneath the Temple of Seti I and irregularities inside and outside the Temple of Seti I. While in urban,results show structural discontinuities in the subsurface (joints and faults and caves), which could be part of the geotechnical problems observed in the study areas. XRD results show that the soluble salts are mainly halite and gypsum. Water-intake tests show that the rocks are composed of halite, gypsum, calcite and clay minerals, which are critical as smectite swells and shrinks.The concentration of Arsenic and Chromium among the trace elements in the study area is four times the world health limit.
