The Pages Are Foxed And Have Many Copper -Plate Illustrations. Vol I Has The Name David Marshall Along The Hinge Of The Title Page And Vol Ii Has James Craig In The Same Position On The Title Page. . There Is No Frontispiece To Vol Ii ( If There Was One Originally?) Both Volumes Have Are Full Leather Binding , Five Shallow Banding On Each. The Title On Each Is Stamped But Lost Its Colouring. 1 & 2 Stamped On The Middle Block On The Spines. Scuffed Brown Leather , Rubbed On The Boards An Worn On The Spine Ends And Tips, Minor Bumping To Said Tips. Page 92 Of Volume I Has The Top Diagonal Missing And A Closed Tear Further Down The Page. The Sewn Binding Is Still Very Solid.
