In den WarenkorbHardbound. Zustand: Very Good. Expanded edition. Strong, an American journalist, writer and socialist firebrand, first visited China in the late 1920's, a journey out of which the first (1928) two-volume edition of this work emerged. During that time she became friends with Zhou Enlai, Soong Ching-ling and other luminaries of the Communist revolution and travelled extensively across China and Mongolia. Includes new introduction by Russian-American journalist John Cournos. Spine cloth faded, corners lightly bumped, endpapers tanned, former owner's name on FFEP. Otherwise, binding strong and internal pages clean and unmarked. xviii, 457 pp. Size: 23 x 16 cm.…
