Hesse, Berlin, um 1840. ) Das zentrale Bild *Lübeck vom Eisenbahnwall * misst ca. 21,5 x 36 cm, die umgebenden 16 Ansichten von unterschiedlichem Format. Gezeigt werden: Burg und Marstall Burgthor Lübeck von Marly Äusseres Holstenthor Inneres Holstenthor Eisenbahnhof Jacobikirche und Heiliggeisthospital Tivolitheater Marienkirche Travemünde Rathhaus Domkirche Lachswehr Catharinenkirche und Catharinäum Herrenfähre. Gesamtmaß der Darstellung ca. 40 x 54 cm ( Höhe x Breite ), Gesamtmaß des Blattes ca. 51,5 x 65,5 cm. Leider von schlechter Erhaltung: Das Blatt ist stark gebräunt, unfrisch, angestaubt, fleckig und stockfleckig, teilweise berieben und zu den Außenrändern hin mit teils starken Randläsionen und Einrissen bzw. angeknickt. Zum Unterrand hin etwas rotweinrandig. Offenbar wurden ein Teil der Außenränder in alter Zeit mit Papierstreifen verstärkt. Total dimensions of the depiction approx. 40 x 54 cm (height x width), total dimensions of the sheet approx. 51.5 x 65.5 cm. Unfortunately in poor condition: the sheet is heavily browned, unfresh, dusty, stained and foxed, partially rubbed and with some heavy marginal lesions and tears or creases to the outer margins. Some red wine staining towards the lower margin. Apparently some of the outer margins were reinforced with paper strips in the old days.
