1928. (hardcover) Near fine in very good dust jacket. xiii, 637pp. 8vo. Single volume. Dark blue-green buckram, lettered in gilt, though the spine is faded. Corners square, binding solid. Deckled edges, some of which remain uncut. Jacket is leatherette paper with titles printed in black and a paste-down illustration. The jacket is rubbed, lightly marked, and has closed tears at the font hinge. It is now protected in a loose mylar sleeve. Internally clean and bright with full colour, full page illustratiions. Illustrated after drawings by (Sir) W. Russell Flint.
