Er begründete u.a. die Twentieth Century Press mit, arbeitete lange mit Paul Elder zusammen und und trug dazu bei, daß San Francisco ein Zentrum der Buchkunst wurde. - Vorsätze gebräunt, Papier vereinzelt braunfleckig; Rückenschildchen d. Faksimile-Bandes angerändert, Papier hier vor allem zu Anfang und zum Ende matt braunfleckig.

Slipcase covered in textured paper with cork design in very good condition with a little rubbing to edges. Both volumes bound in same paper near fine although the silk tie ribbons have half detached but are present. Inside both Volumes all pages in near fine condition with the very odd spot of foxing.
