Third and final compilation of the laws of colonial Virginia to be printed in Virginia, all Williamsburg imprints, 1733, 1752, and 1769, respectively; prior to thes…e, the compiled laws of Virginia were available in various London editions. Folio. (2), 577 pp. Nicely rebound in brown quarter calf, gilt label and brown cloth boards. Text edges remarkably strong, often found damaged. Signature of John Stowe (or Stoure?) 1782 on bookplate & 1st page of text. The remnant of the bookplate xxxAZER, xxxilliam (possibly Prince William?), Virginia. Sabin 100391. Evans 11511. Tower 921.
