I have been listing a lot of books about railroads and railroad-related themes. Here is another, this one titled: "Trolley to the PastA Brief History and Companion to the Operating Trolley Museums of North America," by Andrew D. Young. This large-sized soft cover book (8 ½ x 11 inches, 159 pages) was published by the Interurban Press of Glendale, California, as Interurbans Special 85, dated Summer 1983 and the First Printing (so stated). This book is bound in stiff cardboard covers with color images of trolleys in the snow. The book is very well illustrated starting with a short color photo section and then with lots of b&w photos throughout. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The covers show some minor edge wear and a bit of scuffing to the finish, nothing serious or even easy to see. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are clean and bright throughout. This large and oblong hard cover book (11 ½ x 9 inches, 158 pages) was published by the Interurban Press of Glendale, California, dated Fall 1984 and the First Printing (so stated). The book is bound in navy blue cloth with gilt titles on the spine and protected by a pictorial dust jacket. The book is very well illustrated with countless vintage b&w photos and route maps, some fold-outs. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some edge wear mainly wrinkles and rubs and some tiny tears. The hard covers are dust-dulled and the cloth seems a bit faded or sunned along the edge. Inside, the book is unmarked and the pages and plates are bright and clean throughout. Both hinges are intact, and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder.

The book is very well illustrated with vintage b&w photos of the various modes of transport in use at the time around Detroit. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket shows some minor wear including a bit of edge wear to the upper edge and scuffing to the high points of the finish. There are the remains of a small label that was pasted over the printed price. The hard covers are clean and bright with some minor bumping to the upper corners and spine tips.
