Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -Essay from the year 2018 in the subject Communications - Journalism, Journalism Professions, grade: 13, Justus-Liebig-University Giessen, language: English, abstract: This paper explores how a German and an English news website, Spiegel online and BBC online, respectively, present some of the actual people behind the term 'refugee': A Syrian family of seven and a lone Syrian man. Both have faced hardships, both have a similar cultural background and both want nothing more than to integrate into German society and 'become German'. In 2015, the already tense situation in many Arab countries, chief among them Syria, escalated. While many Syrians had already sought asylum in neighboring states such as Turkey and Jordan since 2011, when the Syrian Civil War first led people to flee their country, the vast refugee population in the neighboring countries eventually forced many to go elsewhere. At first, the refugees¿ predicament seemed solved: Many Europeans had a 'Refugees Welcome' mentality, welcoming the new arrivals with open arms and hearts. This changed, however, with more and more people coming to the country and politicians seemingly at a loss on how to organize the situation. The circumstances for the new society members became difficult. They were disliked by many for the sheer fact that they were part of a different culture. A majority of the refugees lived in crowded refugee camps, bored out of their minds, often not allowed to work, out of money since having spent the last of it on the way to Germany. The media also could not decide how to portray refugees: Were they victims, perpetrators As Chouliaraki put it, the news on the topic of refugees has been 'a constant struggle of shifts and turns over the narration of refugees in news journalism'. 20 pp. Englisch.

The goal of the interrelations which is to facilitate economic growth and assist all parties to achieve their objectives is menaced by incessant conflicts and a high level of strike propensity. It was found that certain contradicting issues and challenges are apparent in the regulatory framework and administering bodies thus leading to ineffectiveness and inefficiency. Challenges such as insincerity of involved parties, tailoring of the system towards western models, and other political and economic factors are also inhibiting the system. 16 pp. Englisch.

Indus River is the longest river in the Asian territory, originated from Tibet Mountain northwest of Pakistan. Routed from the northern part of Gilgit and flowing to word plan area passed through different provinces and flow with sedimentary flux connected with many small and large tributaries tectonically the birth of the rive due to collision of Indian and Eurasian plate that are called Indus suture Plains zone (ISPZ). The main geology composed of igneous and metamorphic rock. The river passed in the various climatic zone with different regions mostly climate is subtropics arid and sub arid to subequatorial. The northern area mostly coved by monsoon system variation of seasonality takes place in the month of May to Oct high flow with increase sedimentary flux special in monsoon time. Anthropogenic activities locally and widely in terms of construction of dams water canals for irrigation purposes, mining exploration, and industries and factories all flux flow in different tributaries impacted on physical and chemical behaviors of the sediments. The primary impact of anthropogenic processes is the reworking of weathered soil smectite which is an indicator of chemical weathering and which increases in the offshore record after around 5000 years ago. This material indicates greater transport of stronger chemically weathered material and some of this may be caused by the erosion of old soils broken up by agriculture, although we also see evidence for the incision of the big rivers into the floodplain which is also driving reworking of this type of material so the signal may be a combination of the two. The dramatic change in shape and size of the sediments by colliding each other during the high charge river. 20 pp. Englisch.

Most importantly, the connection between fat content and the dependent variable will be investigated. The research suggests that the rate of UHT milk spoilage increases with the amount of fat present in the milk, and this investigation will assess the validity of this statement. The importance of this subject is significant because UHT milk consumption constantly increases, reaching the threshold of 119 million tons in 2019 and constitutes a strong fundament of people¿s diet. The research extends the knowledge about the process of UHT milk spoilage and its link with fat content as well as gives food for thought when it comes to the UHT milk preservation methods, shelf life, and the impact of other ingredients on the process of spoilage. 16 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Essay from the year 2021 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Comparative Literature, grade: Higher, , language: English, abstract: Supernatural characters mostly form archetypal motifs in many literary writings, meaningfully. In this context, the present paper attempts at making comparative study by analysing the sociocultural influences and modalities of select littérateurs from England and India of different times and genres, those who pioneer in supernatural writings. Firstly, it puts forth the role of supernatural characters in the writings of the English authors in the forms of soothsayers and apparitions in Shakespeare; necromancy in University wits and compares them with traditional supernatural writings of India like epical, mythological, Buddhist petas and tantric writings. Then, it reflects on mesmerism in the Gothic writings, which is extended up to the role of animagi and metamorphomagi in J.K.Rowling¿s Harry Potter and compares with the writings of Tagore; ghost stories of Trailokyanath Bandopadhya, Satyjit Ray, Tarasankar, and Manoj Das reflecting on spiritual psychic elements; Samit Basu presents Simoqin prophesies; Shweta Tanejäs concept of cult of chaos, etc. Then, an in-depth critical evaluation has been done regarding the importance of the supernatural characters in such writings from the artistic and philosophical point of views and stylistic factors. It is observed that the traditional authors of both the countries have blended mythological and socio-cultural motifs based on supernatural realities whereas in the modern times, the writers are intertextual, scientific as well as artistic and what¿s more, the contemporary writers have been creating new forms unique to their domains of writing or genres 20 pp. Englisch.

But only since the 1970s, considerable attention has been paid to first language acquisition in research (Kuczaj & Barrett 1986: ix). First language acquisition is the study of when and how infants and children get a command of their native tongue (Goodluck 1991: 1). Even though there are a number of empirical studies and data, there is still a significant need for further research on children¿s language acquisition. The fact that children acquire implicit and productive knowledge of adult grammar¿even though they do not obtain explicit instruction in the linguistic rules of their specific language and their language input is severely restricted to the speech that they hear¿is called the logical problem of language acquisition (Goodluck 1991: 3). According to Goodluck, this logical problem is the reason why the notion of an innate and unconscious linguistic knowledge is quite common among (psycho)linguists (1991: 3). The assumption that the child is biologically equipped with fundamental linguistic knowledge can additionally be justified with the fact that deaf children babble (Goodluck 1991: 141). The study of first language acquisition is as complex as the process itself since there are different theories and approaches and, most importantly, because language acquisition differs cross-linguistically and individually. The paper explains how English-speaking children start to acquire past tense structures and elucidates the patterns in which regular and irregular past tense forms are acquired. This is particularly interesting because children¿s acquisition of relational terms like verbs has only recently been studied in greater detail (Behrens 2001: 451). 16 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2021 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Literature, grade: 1,0, Christian-Albrechts-University of Kiel (Philosophische Fakultät - Englisches Seminar), course: Narrative Theory and the Reading of Literary Texts, language: English, abstract: The purpose of this paper is to show that an analysis and interpretation of the topographical and architectural setting and of the objects within that setting in Ernest Hemingway¿s short story ¿Hills Like White Elephants,¿ which was published in 1927, provides a fruitful understanding of the short story. This paper investigates how Hemingway transforms topography into metaphors and symbols and how the setting creates the mood and sets the tone of the short story. ¿Hills Like White Elephants¿ is a paramount example of Hemingway¿s so-called 'iceberg theory'. Similarly, Hemingway¿s short story ¿Hills Like White Elephants,¿ which is mostly told in dialogue, is like the tip of an iceberg¿the succinct length and the seemingly simple language are deceptive. Analogously to Hemingway¿s iceberg theory, there are concealed depths to the surface story. The fact that there are only a few sections in which the setting is described emphasizes that a close reading of the setting is necessary because the lack of description indicates that there is hidden meaning behind the overall setting. This paper argues that Hemingway uses the setting to demonstrate the struggle of the main characters, the American and the girl Jig, about whether to have an abortion¿even though words such as ¿abortion¿ or ¿pregnancy¿ are not mentioned in the text. The paper argues that Hemingway integrates symbolism into the landscape and furthermore uses spatial concepts to convey meaning that goes beyond spatial information. The contrast between abortion or birth correlates with the dichotomy of the setting and is hence almost entirely expressed in spatial terms. Moreover, the descriptions of the setting reflect the couple¿s contrasting points of view regarding the pregnancy. The paper aims to discover the implied and hinted meaning within the deceptive simplicity of the text by relying on narrative theory. 20 pp. Englisch.

To what degree did American conceptions of democracy contribute And how was its own democratic image hurt by it This paper explores the way American conceptions of democracy influenced its actions in the Chilean coup of 1973. In order to do this, it first discusses the debate surrounding its actions in Chile itself. Did the US intervene to protect democracy Or was there a ¿ to them ¿ more important reason that took precedence over it Then, it turns to a discussion of the US government's actions after the fact to bring more nuance to the topic and ask whether its ideal of democracy had anything to do with it. 20 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2021 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Linguistics, grade: 0, Klagenfurt University, language: English, abstract: The following paper aims to analyze the language that is used on social media. With word-formation processes as an umbrella term, the linguistic features which are part of digital communication will be listed. The first chapter will introduce the term social media and English as the lingua franca of digital communication. The next chapters will discuss the focus of the paper namely different word-formation processes and their definitions. With the help of secondary sources, each chapter will provide examples of daily written English on social networks. The paper concludes with a final summary and thoughts on the subject. This research paper discusses the different language varieties of social media with a deeper focus on word-formation processes. Living in the digital era, the way people comminate has changed during the last decades. Traditional communicating patterns developed in a way that allows people to stay in their homes and make use of their technical devices to connect with others. Writing letters and going out to meet partners is outdated nowadays. As English is the lingua franca of the Internet in general it is also used in social media by most of the users. Long-distance relationships with one partner being an English-speaking country and the other one in a non-anglophone country also add to the fact that they communicate in English. The main question is how social media has changed the way people communicate in anglophone countries. It is very important to observe this topic because English is known as a language that changes constantly. Especially in social media, there are varieties of English that are used to communicate in the chat room or the comment section. 20 pp. Englisch.

According to Spivak, the Western way of thinking, in respect to colonized people, is a particular form of violence, defined by her as ¿epistemic violence,¿ capable of inducing the colonized to see themselves in a marginal position with respect to colonists. The West imposes itself as a sovereign ruler of the entire globe, presenting it as the only way and creating the concept of Us vs. Them. This system is referred to by Spivak as ¿worlding of a world;¿ through this process, the West has created its Other, and considers them objects as objects to be analyzed, and thereby takes the power to represent and control them. Spivak points out that the interest of Western intellectuals against the colonial subject always ends up being a missionary attitude; their mind and their point of view, in the end, coincides with the imperialist narrative because what it promises to the natives is ¿redemption.¿ These ¿other¿ places, ¿other¿ ways of thinking, ¿other¿ knowledge, are the subject this essay 2. With lines like these, Wolf Biermann and many other musicians from Eastern Germany expressed their frustration with their state. Despite censorship and the danger of imprisonment, they expressed their political opinion and influenced those that listened to them. But to what extend did they dare to do so And did they all share the same views The Cold War is one of the most relevant and often-ven just within the counter-culture of eastern Germany, only one of many countries one could choose to focus on, there was a wide range of art and activism against the state, and even outside the big revolutions of 1953 and 1989, the people were as vocal as they were able to be. Not all of them shared the same opinion and if they did reject their state or its policies, they all did it in very different ways for different reasons. Especially the topic of music shows this very well. Music is one of the ways in which people express their emotions and thoughts the most clearly, and while states attempted to use musicians for their own purposes, especially those living in repressive regimes formed underground cultures and wrote music to counter them. This paper investigates two of such musicians and places them in the wider context of Cold War resistance.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 16 pp. Englisch.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -Essay from the year 2021 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Topic: Public International Law and Human Rights, grade: 7.0, Tilburg University, course: International law and human security, language: English, abstract: This paper addresses the question of whether International law related to human security is adequate to address modern challenges, I argue in the affirmative, albeit partially. While I believe that International law in this area can certainly be improved upon as law, in general, is a dynamic phenomenon, it would be erroneous to assert that the laws are not adequate to address modern challenges to a considerable extent. In support of my position, I aim to advance the perspective that in matters concerning international human security law, we must draw distinctions between ¿adequate/adequacy¿ and ¿application.' Whereas 'adequate' means 'sufficient for a specific need or requirement.' On the other hand, 'application' means 'an act of putting something to use.' It is my view that though international law is generally sufficient to address modern challenges, actions taken by international actors to tackle human security issues are usually unpredictable. 'Law,' being an institutional fixture, is enacted to ensure predictability and uniformity, and international law should be no exception. However, international actors are generally inclined to think and act otherwise. It is one thing to develop laws, and it is an entirely different matter to apply them. In further support of my position, I also seek to present the view and necessary evidence that the application of international law related to human security is majorly dependent on State policy and not the adequacy or otherwise of the law. Humanity's duty to protect human security interests in both conflict and non-conflict situations is deemed essential. Accordingly, the need for a comprehensive and inclusive International legal framework on human security is justified. In the wake of the security issues that we have been confronted with in the past and those that continue to threaten our concerted safety, deliberations surrounding the adequacy or otherwise of International law related to human security vis-à-vis modern challenges are inevitable. 16 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Academic Paper from the year 2020 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Topic: European Union, grade: 1,0, Maastricht University, language: English, abstract: Over the past 20 years, the number of lobbyists in Brussels increased rapidly. The Lisbon treaty of 2009 reinforced this effect drastically as EU institutions became more powerful. Consequently, there was a shift in the lobbying strategy of many interest groups increasingly focusing on EU decision makers instead of state governments. In 2017, approximately 15,000 lobbyists were positioned in Brussels. The rising trend of lobbying in the EU has several effects on policy and decision making of EU institutions. The European Union finds itself in a challenging position due to the rise of eurosceptic parties, problems with European integration, the economic crisis, and the overall concern about the democratic legitimacy of the EU. Legitimacy as a concept describes the rightfulness of a government in terms of either doing the right thing in the right way with the right people or in terms of political sciences as the overall belief of society in the rightness of the system. The legitimacy of the EU is debatable, and lobbying is on a rising trend. Therefore, this paper addresses the following research question: Does lobbying facilitates or impedes EU¿s legitimacy Firstly, the paper focuses on the definitions of the key concepts and links them to the EU. Secondly, responsible lobbying will be discussed. Additionally, the paper will investigate the relationship between lobbying in the EU and legitimacy more in depth, by using the author's own framework, while considering several dimensions and scales of lobbying and by citing multiple examples. Lastly, a conclusion will be given.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 16 pp. Englisch.

The first part analyzes differences and similarities between human-human and human-machine relationships, highlighting essential parts of a functioning bond. Next, it examines the long-term negative effects of such relationships. Living in the 21st century, human-machine relationships do not seem far-fetched. With dating sites like Tinder and Lovoo, traditional dating has changed for humanity in the last decades. With Instagram, Facebook, and Co., long-distance relationships are more common than they were the generations before. Traditional dating patterns have changed in many ways. With the development of modern technology, communication habits are based on phone calls, video chats, and messaging apps and sending each other posts via social media. In his science-fiction drama Her (2013), Spike Jonze goes further to say that a romantic relationship between an operating system and a man is possible. In a futuristic setting, the protagonist Theodore Twombly (Joaquin Phoenix) finds himself grieving over the separation from his ex-wife. To understand and to read the new creation, it is important to understand the meaning of each part to create further meaning of the whole. Where is the difference to language To properly understand a language it is important to split it into smaller units and to understand the meaning of each unit it is necessary and helpful to understand the whole language. The mathematical formula is 1+1= language. Firstly, this seems to be confusing but lately, logical. Language does consist of smaller units which, once brought together, build up to a new system, a whole language. To understand a language it is therefore indispensable to understand logical connections but it is not necessary to be a math genius. Today¿s most striking field of linguistic, Natural Language Processing (NLP), combines the ability to think logically and to analyse language in an encompassing manner. The aim of this paper is to give a brief introduction on what is Natural Language Processing (NLP) and further, to define several challenges NLP has to face due to online data bias. The challenges which concern the field of technology as well as they influence the social impact form a work frame for the overlaying field of ethical challenges in online data which are going to be displayed in this paper. The term is derived from the Old French celebrité and from the Latin celibritatem, meaning ¿celebration¿ and ¿fame¿. In addition, 'in the nineteenth century [that] the term ¿celebrity¿ emerged'. During this era, a remarkable social change transpired and industrialization occured. With more extensive opportunities, free time expanded and interest in public entertainment intensified. Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2015 in the subject American Studies - Literature, grade: 2,3, University of Bonn, language: English, abstract: The work that will be focused on the novel ¿I Am Legend¿ by Richard Matheson brings together the idea of the last living human on earth and the myth of vampires. The author shows the theories of the novel that are hidden between the lines. These theories are on the one hand easy to find and very obvious but on the other hand they have to be decoded word by word. To be more specific, I will try to show that the condition of alienation is one of the main topics in Matheson¿s writing. Moreover, I will show some postmodern aspect of the novel and why it is so fascinating to read apocalyptic writings. The novel may be written in 1954 and set in the late 1970s but it can be a model for current interpretations of the apocalypse since apocalyptic writings make sense of bad things and are coping with situations in which people feel helpless. 20 pp. Englisch.

Neuware -Essay from the year 2021 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Linguistics, , course: English Language, language: English, abstract: This study examines the various semantic changes that take place in English words borrowed into Icibemba. Icibemba is a language spoken by the majority of the Zambian population. English and Icibemba are two languages from two different language families. The main objective of this study was to examine the various semantic processes involved in the process of borrowing words from English into Icibemba. Data was collected from primary and secondary sources. The data was then analyzed for semantic changes. The discussion concludes that certain words have meanings which correspond with that of the source language and that certain words extend their meaning range whereas others narrow it. Some words extend their meaning range figuratively. Some loanwords also change their emotive value when they are taken over into Icibemba language.Books on Demand GmbH, Überseering 33, 22297 Hamburg 16 pp. Englisch.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2018 in the subject History of Europe - Middle Ages, Early Modern Age, grade: 8, VU University Amsterdam , language: English, abstract: The Crusades are, despite the fact the first one took place almost thousand years ago, still an often debated topic, both for their historical significance all over Europe and the Near East and for their religious-moral aspect, as well as for their brutality. It is not surprising that these journeys have such a lasting impact on both our memory and historic debate considering their incredible impact and global relevance. This paper explores the question of why the first crusade was so much more violent than the sixth, for which the answer lies in the motivations of involved parties. It is separated into two parts. First,it discusses the events of the first and sixth crusades to prove the first one was especially brutal compared to another, much more peaceful one. This forms the basis of the research question. To answer it, the second part discusses the motivations of different parties involved in the first and sixth crusade. Why did the main figures of the crusades command their people to march to Jerusalem Why did all these people from different social status, culture and even different religions attack the holy city and murder hundreds of people Why didn't they two hundred years later In this chapter, I will focus on pope Urban II, emperor Frederick II and the crusaders themselves. 20 pp. Englisch.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2020 in the subject History of Germany - 1848, Empire, Imperialism, grade: 9,4, VU University Amsterdam , language: English, abstract: In 1871, the German empire was proclaimed in Versailles. This marked the beginning of Germany's rise as an imperial power and eventually led to its militarization and the rise of fascism. It was not the first time that there was some form of a German state, but it was the first time the territory was actually consolidated under direct rule and a uniform culture. Accordingly, this was the first time the states that considered themselves German had to seriously adapt to a ruler. How did this work in Saxony Previous attempts to unite the German states, specifically the Holy Roman Empire and the Frankfurt Parliament of 1848, failed at the consolidation of their power over the different states. For a long time, the German states were connected through some common culture and language but were always fragmented in their political structure. The measures enacted by the first emperor and his chancellor successfully challenged this fragmentation by appealing to both the nobility and the ordinary people, the repercussions of which can still be felt even today, both on an international scale and locally. Especially Saxony is an interesting state to investigate during this time, as it was once one of the most powerful German speaking states in the middle ages, had a complicated relationship with Prussia, and is even now the centre stage for a lot of current political debates in Germany. 16 pp. Englisch.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -Seminar paper from the year 2021 in the subject English Language and Literature Studies - Linguistics, grade: 1,3, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg (Anglistik), course: English Words, language: English, abstract: The aim of this paper is to describe the various systems employed to convey meaning in written form, their development and possible advantages or disadvantages they might imply. According to Wallace L. Chafe (1971), language can be defined as ¿a system which mediates, in a highly complex way, between the universe of meaning and the universe of sound¿. The technology required to record the sounds of a language, however, was invented quite recently in comparison to the long history of mankind. Therefore, in order to document thoughts, ideas or experiences, humans had to fall back to other means, that is to say writing, in an attempt to record otherwise transient utterances. Nevertheless, devising as well as using a system to document language is by no means an easy task and, thus, analysing the process behind this development deserves special attention. 20 pp. Englisch.

Virginia Woolf. From essays, through short stories and letters to novels, she had written innumerable works. Many of them were published in more than one edition. But why What incites an author to republish a work in a new edition What kind of changes does a work went through when it is revised and republished And can a newer edition be denoted as 'the better one' To examine these questions, two editions of one of the most popular short stories of Virginia Woolf will be analysed in the following thesis. Therefore, at first something about Virginia Woolf¿s life and her way of becoming a well-known writer will be investigated. After that, the two editions of 'Kew Gardens' from 1919 and 1927 will be compared regarding their format, printing, and reception. Finally, the results will be summed up and a conclusion will be drawn, where the thesis question ¿Same work, different editions ¿ Is the 1927th edition better than the 1919th edition of Virginia Woolf¿s 'Kew Gardens' ¿ will be answered. 20 pp. Englisch.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -Academic Paper from the year 2021 in the subject Gender Studies, grade: 6.0, University of Auckland, language: English, abstract: Women in Papua New Guinea are constitutionally recognised as the countries citizens and should have equal citizenship status as men. However, Papua New Guinea's 'big man' culture founded upon patriarchic beliefs and values often undermines women's status and participation in the country's political arena. Therefore, this literature review examines women's political status in the country and the extent of women's participation in the country's political system. Papua New Guinea's Melanesian culture was built upon Patriarchy. According to Christ, patriarchy is often defined as male dominance. In traditional Papua New Guinea societies before the European contact, tribal warfare between warring tribes were common. It was the males (men) who defended the tribe, specifically women and children against the invading tribes. In return from their protection, women and children submit to their authority and consider fathers as the head of the family. This system has evolved over thousands of years and eventually inbuilt into the societies social, political and economical structure which got itself rooted in almost all Melanesian sub-cultures. However, the ideology of patriarchy has taken a new twist. Instead of protecting the women, the males take advantage of the system and often treat women as inferior beings. Women are often being abused and supressed from participating especially in the societies¿ political activities. The patriarchy system has now developed into a system that the male dominance is not out of love and respect but out of treat and violence towards women. It is a system controlled by powerful men, the man who can use treat or other form of violence to supress women. It evolves around the idea that the world is tough and in order to survive one has to be tough physically to survive. The idea is often considered as primitive as it does not consider the feelings of the other people in the society; however, because it is well developed and constructed over the years, it is considered as part of Papua New Guinea's culture which many Papua New Guineans accept. 24 pp. Englisch.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware -Academic Paper from the year 2020 in the subject Politics - International Politics - Region: Africa, grade: 10th, Princeton University (Princeton University), course: Political Eeconomics, language: English, abstract: In this article, the author argues that Neopatrimonialism in Africa and Neopatrimonialism outside Africa are two different things in so many aspects, making the case of neopatrimonialism in Africa a distinguishable and different one than the rest of the world, that should be taken into consideration for further studies discreetly. The author also argues that while neopatrimonialism might leverage some nations and support democracy, the same case doesn¿t apply to the Sub Saharan regions.Going by the many articles defining the definition of neopatrimonialism, many researchers intertwine neopatrimonial regimes with developing countries and correlate the term with the levels of corruption and poverty in those countries.Several studies have been applied to neopatrimonialism to explain the depravity in several developing countries from different continents, without distinguishing between neopatrimonialism in Africa and neopatrimonialism in the other parts of the world.Neopatrimonial regimes in Africa are way different from their counterparts in the rest of the world; several reasons contributed to the rise, the continuity and the failure of transition to democratic regimes in Africa, among those reasons: traditions, ethical representations, and personality rule those three conditions are present and repetitive in every case of the Sub Saharan countries under neopatrimonial regimes, however, that¿s not the case fo the rest of the neopatrimonial states outside Africa.Research around the term neopatrimonialism and its features seem to be one of the most intricate things about this term. Some scholars have stated that neopatrimonialism spurs democracy, they have argued that patrimonialism may promote both democracy and developmental governance. While both of the arguments stated might be true, there are not found in every society, neopatrimonialism might or might not bolster democracy depending on the type of the community, the personal rule is pivotal in neopatrimonial states; however, it¿s not found in every neopatrimonial regime. 32 pp. Englisch.
