Before the large scale manufacturing and production of any product, it is necessary to conduct two basic tests i.e. Thermal analysis and vibration tests for any given product. These tests help us to get an insight to the reliability of the product. In chapter 3, the power supply is modeled using the software tool ICEPACK v13, using which thermal analysis is performed on the critical components and the temperature variation curves along with the simulation results has been discussed. The method of casing used for the power supply for modeling and the types of conventions i.e. natural and forced convention systems has been compared and discussed. Besides metaphors, puns or alliterations, phraseological units are frequently used as a popular tool in advertising language (Bell, 1995: 32; Fiedler, 2007: 103).In the following, my focus will be on the topic of modification of phraseological units in advertising as beneficial influencer on the audience¿s attitude towards a product, using the example of a print advert of Volkswagen¿s ¿As sun as possible¿ campaign for the Beetle Cabriolet. The aim of this work is to prove the relevance and the favourable effects of transformed phraseological units in an empirical study dealing with the advert of Volkswagen. Phraseological Units are modified in the ¿As sun as possible¿ campaign of Volkswagen to profit from the underlying original meaning and to add a personalised meaning fitting the particular product in order to favourably and efficiently affect the relevant audience.In order to show this, the present work will first create a theoretical basis about the concept of phraseological units. There, I will concentrate on the terminology and explain central features of phraseological units and how they are used in adverts. Then I will initially consider the possibilities for a modification of phraseological units on a general basis. In the following, this knowledge will be expanded by an elaboration of the most frequently used techniques for modification in advertising and an explanation of the advantages and challenges. The German city investigated particularly in this article is Munich, since prices are at an all-time high and have been rising continuously during the last decades. To be more specific, this master thesis aims to identify whether there is a local real estate bubble within the German city Munich. This is done by regressing two sets of data and using a stock-flow model in order to determine the relationship between housing prices and explanatory macroeconomic variables: The first set is a time series regression on a whole city perspective within the years 1975 and 2013. The second set is a panel data analysis on district basis within the years 2000 to 2012. Results suggest that in the first set condominium prices are moderately and rowhouse prices are slightly overvalued in Munich, especially in the recent years.
