Very good in a good dust wrapper. Mikael Gam [1902-1982]was born in Denmark but spent most of his life as a teacher and politician in Greenland. The text is in Danish.

Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. Author's first book. The cover shows '1911 Strum, Wisconsin' but Strum is where the author was a pastor when he wrote this book. The book was actually published in Eau Claire Wisconsin by Fremad Publishing. Softcover, tightly bound. The light gray cover shows some darkening. Bookplate on the inside of the front cover of collector Herman Gimmestad. Most of these poems were written before he emigrated, and the last section ' I Fremmed Land' written in America. The author was unhappy with his emigration and returned to Norway in 1920.
