Paperback. Zustand: Good. First edition. Very likely purchased by DS at a UFO event. Listed as unavailable as published (ISBN 1976218012 by Create Space Independent Publishing) in 1988. This version is a printed edition in quarto, illustrated cardstock covers. The title page states: "Containing the original, complete Previously…unpublished manuscript. Illustrated, First Edition. Copyright Jerome Eden Published by the Eden Press, Box 399 Careywood, Idaho". Presumably this is the edition released as a reprint by Flatland Books (with copyright as 1985 on front wrap.) Eden's works are listed in the Paradigm Research on line UFO bibliography.Plastic peg binder is missing two pegs at heel. Else very good. Quarto. No expedited shipping.

Zustand: Near Fine. First Edition. First edition, limited issue, #22 of 500 copies. Association copy signed by Jim Martin on the title page and warmly inscribed to fellow conspiracy researcher Kenn Thomas. 562 pp. Bound in publisher's blue cloth stamped in silver. Near Fine with light rubbing to extremities, slight bumping to co…rners, and very light soiling to textblock edges. Light dampstain to lower corner of front pastedown, free endpaper, and first 2 leaves. A provocative work arguing that the Freudian psychoanalyst-turned-inventor Wilhelm Reich was the victim of an organized smear and suppression campaign by Stalinist agents within the American media and government. Martin links the campaign to the wartime Communist spy ring allegedly run by the government economist Nathan Gregory Silvermaster, who was never formally charged. Reich was not so fortunate; he died in prison in 1956 after being sentenced for criminal contempt. Martin's inscription reads: "To Kenn Thomas, with all due respects for your able and crucial assistance with this book -- couldn't have done it without you, bro!" Thomas published the conspiracy magazine Steamshovel Press, and Martin published the conspiracy magazine Flatland: A Review of the Suppressed and Secret Evidence. Thomas was an experienced researcher who helped Martin obtain Reich's prison files.
