(278x384mm), half titile, iv,i,viii+116pp., profusely illustrated throughout with plans & diagrams, inscribed in ink to front free endpaper 'Philip Yorke/Christmas 1933' marbled endpapers with armorial bookplate of Philip Grantham Yorke pasted to front endpaper, light foxing to prelims, bound in dark blue cloth, gilt, front board gilt ruled with central gilt crown within laurel wreath, all edges gilt, handsome and very good indeed. Plans & designs submitted for a competition arranged by the Royal Corinthian Yacht Club in 1932. Vessels of 35-55 feet from designers in England, Scotland, Germany, USA, Canada, Denmark & Finland with detailed plans for each vessel. The Prizewinners are named including those under 30 years of age.
