Presentation copy from the author to Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Adam Doney, inscribed in ink on f.f.e.p. Good in original green decorated boards, front hinge starting, back cover water stained, last few pages a little wavy from moisture, spine dull and soiled.

The binding is a bit shaken. Pages are rough cut, toned along the edges. Corners are bumped and frayed. Crown of the spine is quite worn, perhaps a bit of water damage. Covers and labels are worn. Pages inside are toned but clean and unmarked. Signed by the editor and author of the introduction on the front free endpaper. Limited edition of 300 copies, of which this is number 296. Signature reads, "D. Joseph S. Hepburn - with the regards of John L. Haney; August 11, 1924.". Signed by Author(s).
