Encuadernación de tapa blanda. Zustand: Muy bien. Folio. #1 May 1985 - #36 Jan 1986. (Complete set). Wrappers in original folders. El Diario del Juicio was undoubtedly one of the most significant publications of the period of democratic recovery, in a political context of extreme uncertainty and complexity. Its 36 issues appeared between May 1985 and January 1986, with the purpose of exhaustively covering the hearings in the trial of the dictatorship's military regime. In this sense, one of his greatest testimonial contributions consisted of the transcription of the shorthand versions of the sessions. Due to this vocation of being a source of future history, it was proposed from the beginning as a collection document. Its objectives were made explicit in an editorial note of balance, in the last installment: "With the publication of this fourth and last part of the sentence that condemned the former commanders of the sadly famous process, El Diario del Juicio puts an end to its weekly deliveries shorthand versions. Through eight long months, we have brought our readers a piece of contemporary Argentine history. A tragic story, it is true, but, for that very reason, inescapable. The Judgment Journal also puts an end to his short life. We were born under the protection of the reconstituted democracy, sheltered by freedom, to reflect this historical judgment. But not to reflect it with the vain fidelity of a mirror, but to return it to the readers filtered by the opinions of jurists, priests, witnesses and, also, by our own opinions. Now, after the legal trial is over, the trial of the former commanders belongs, in part, to history. The Judgment Diary can serenely enter the archives . The Diario del Juicio, an initiative of Editorial Perfil, had a stable journalistic team: Marcelo Pichel was the editor in charge, Alberto Amato, the editorial secretary, and Carlos Cabeza Miñarro and Rodolfo Zibell, editors. Likewise, numerous external collaborators wrote on its pages, such as Alfredo Achával, Germán J. Bidart Campos, Roberto Calandra, Catherine Derivery, Alberto Fernández, Luis Lozano, Mario Mactas, José Enrique Miguens, Monsignor Jorge Novak, Osvaldo Orieta, Enrique Paixao, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, Luis Rébora, Thomas M. Simpson, Luis E. Tibiletti, José Alejandro Vara, among many others. E1.
