A species-by-species description of angling methods in sea and freshwater, with good colour paintings of fish species. Contributions from Harry Brotherton, Derek Fletcher, Clive Gammon, F.W. Holiday, William Howes, S. Norton-Bracy, Raymond Perrett and Harvey Torbett. This edition, published in June 1969, is called by the publisher the de luxe edition. It is, however, difficult to see in what way it would be considered de luxe. Also, a misprint on the title-page incorrectly implies that Eric Tenney was the author rather than the illustrator. . …
