Half blue polished calf and marbled boards, pallet signature of the binder - POTTER AND SONS, YORK - plus the pencilled initials and instructions of the actual binder [?] on the verso of the portrait, some heavy foxing at the front and slight…er occasionally elsewhere, a nice copy. *No copy of this imprint on COPAC. Bogue's dates were c.1807 until 1856, thus one might presume publication of the above to be pre-1857. The book was first published in 1836.
