The arrangement of the volume is alphabetical according to the names of the grantees, giving the number of acres, dates, locations, and references to the pages in the original records, which are now housed in the Land Office of Frankfort. There are more than 45,000 entries, most of which are devoted to Fayette, Lincoln, and Jefferson County records prior to 1792.
