None of the writing detracts from the book in…fact it adds to it's uniqueness. The half title page has a postcard of Captain Joseph Brant Monument taped in, ( The tape has bled slightly through the page. Something was obviously taped in the rear endpapers and then removed since there is tape reidue. Blue cloth covered boards with very bright gilt titles on front and spine. Very little shelfwear. The Dj is cplete with minor chipping and a closed 1/2" split on front spine. There are half a dozen tipped in newspaper cuttings and a small booklet 'Tales of the Tom-Tom, from the land of the sleeping giant." A delightful piece of history. By Author.
