This is the lovely hardbound book published in conjunction with German photographer Peter Bialobrzeski's 2004 exhibition of luminous images of the architectural details of Asian megalopolises Hong Kong, Shanghai, Bangkok, Singapore, Shenzhen, and Kuala Lumpur held at Bremen's Museum der Arbeit. Contrasting decaying blocks of flats with under-construction skyscrapers, "Neon Tigers" bears more than a passing resemblance to the urban dystopia of "Blade Runner" - especially in its sodium light drenched night skylines.
